  • Tomatoes, red, raw | 1.33 slice, thick/large 1/2" thick
  • Multigrain bread | 4.00 slice regular
  • Lemon juice, raw | 1.00 tsp
  • Garlic, raw | 1.00 Tbsp
  • Calcium fortified skim milk | 1.00 fl oz
  • Anchovy Raw | 3.00 fillet
  • Olive oil | 1.00 tablespoon
  • Spices, pepper, black | 1.00 dash

  1. Crush the garlic; slice the tomatoes. In a small dish, put together the fish and milk and leave to soak for 10 minutes. Then drain the fish and rinse them. Pat dries them on a kitchen paper.
  2. Now blend together the fish, garlic, and lemon juice in a blender until smooth paste. Then heat the grill and toast the bread slices from both sides. Spread the paste on one side of each slice.
  3. Place the tomato slices on the top of the paste and then sprinkle some oil with the pepper. Grill for 2 minutes. Serve Tomato and Anchovy Toasts Recipe at once.
