Ingredients

  • Granulated sugar | 2.00 cup
  • Whole milk with added vitamin D | 0.50 cup
  • Light corn syrup | 2.00 tbsp
  • Salt | 1.00 dash
  • Butter without salt | 2.00 tbsp
  • English walnuts | 1.00 cup, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar, milk, corn syrup, and salty in heavy saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar dissolves, cook to soft ball (238 degree F).
  3. Remove from heat and add butter, (DO NOT STIR).
  4. Let candy cool to room temperature.
  5. Add vanilla and beat until candy thickens,add chopped walnuts
  6. Pour onto a buttered platter. let the mixture set aside,
  7. Cut into desirable shapes and sizes
  8. Serve immediately.
