Ingredients

  • Drinking tap water | 2.00 cup 8 fl oz
  • Granulated sugar | 0.25 cup
  • Fruit punch concentrate, frozen | 1.00 can 12 fl oz
  • Lemon juice, raw | 0.50 fl oz
  • Watermelon, raw | 5.00 cup, balls
  • Lemon lime soda | 1.00 bottle 16 fl oz

Instructions

  1. Bring water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Cook for 3 minutes; remove from heat.
  3. Stir in punch concentrate, lemon juice, and pureed watermelon.
  4. Place in a plastic container and cover.
  5. Freeze at least 8 hours or until firm.
  6. To serve, thaw mixture slightly to form a slush.
  7. Spoon about 1 cup of slush in to a 12-ounce glass.
  8. Slowly pour in ½ cup of lemon-lime soda.
