Healthier Oatmeal Cookies
These healthier cookies are sweet and delectable, ideal for a holiday gift, breakfast, dessert, or for Santa.
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Beat sugars, butter, eggs and extract with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Add flours, oats, cinnamon and salt, beating well. Stir in pecans and cranberries or golden raisins, if desired.
- Drop by tablespoons, 1-inch apart, onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350º for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven; let stand 2 minutes. Remove cookies from baking sheet; serve warm or at room temperature.
