13 Healthier Valentine’s Day Recipes That Beat A Box Of Chocolates

With the holidays (and yes, that includes Valentine’s Day) comes temptation in the form of delicious, tasty treats. My rule of thumb is this: moderation and simplicity. To achieve your fitness goals, you want to place the least amount of stress as possible on your body, and that means foregoing chemicals and non-nutritious substances wherever possible. However, we shouldn’t restrict ourselves too much either, because this causes internal, mental stress. The best thing to do then, is make better-for-you treats that still feel indulgent (and look seriously impressive for your date).

You’d never know that these clean treats are so good for you.
