Each morning, the 21-year-old bombshell gets up at 7 am and has breakfast before heading off to a boxing workout inboxing at Gotham Gym in the West Village.
According to HealthyCeleb.com, she starts off by jumping rope, followed with boxing, which is mixed in with hardcore exercises.
The pattern of the workout is 3:1. For every three minutes of sparring, Hadid does one minute of hardcore exercises and bodyweight training. She ends the workout with ballet-inspired floor exercises.
“My biggest thing is just eat healthy and work out,” the model shared simply when asked how she stays fit. “I was a volleyball player for 12 years, I rode horses my whole life, and now I box every day.”
And although Gigi makes an effort to eat clean, she allows herself indulgences every now and again.
“My personal motto is, ‘Eat clean to stay fit, have a burger to stay sane,'” she says, “So if I’m in the mood I’ll go to JG Melon in the West Village.”
Aside from burgers (her favourite, she says), Gigi will also make an exception for ice cream from Emack & Bolio’s. Her favourite? Grasshopper Pie, a crème de menthe liqueur-flavored ice cream with Oreos and chocolate flakes.
“I would walk past it on my way to the gym every day, but one day it was closed and I almost cried,” she says, adding that now she has pints delivered to her apartment.
Thankfully, the convenience of the Big Apple makes it easy for Hadid to stay on track, though she admits she also loves to cook.
“New York is great for being healthy — I have a Juice Press right around the corner and I make my own food all the time, Gigi told Into the Gloss, adding, “But burgers and fries are my weakness.”
