- 1 cup cold pure coconut water (no added sugar)
- 1 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 cup frozen or fresh mango chunks
- 3 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
- 2 cups ice
To add this breakfast smoothie to your mornings, blend the coconut water, yogurt, the mangos, orange, and ice in a blender until smooth.
2. Simple Summer Smoothie
Want a quick and easy summer smoothie that’s delicious and healthy, too? Try this berry concoction.
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 4 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon honey
Add the banana, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and ice to the blender, then pour the orange juice, yogurt, and honey on top. Puree until smooth and serve.

You absolutely need this green smoothie compliments of singer/songwriter Jason Mraz. It’s made creamy with avocados — and he should know, since he happens to live on an avocado farm.
- 1 1/4 cups cold unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk beverage
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 sweet apple, such as Honeycrisp, sliced
- 1/2 large or 1 small stalk celery, chopped
- 2 cups lightly packed kale leaves or spinach
- 1 1-inch piece peeled fresh ginger
- 8 ice cubes
Add the milk, avocado, banana, apple, celery, kale, ginger, and ice to a blender, and puree until smooth.
4. Citrus Berry Smoothie
Summertime means time to break out the citrus fruits and bask under the summer sun. Enjoy this citrus berry smoothie as a refreshing poolside drink.
- 1 1/4 cups fresh berries
- 3/4 cup low-fat plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
- 1 tablespoon toasted wheat germ
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add berries, yogurt, orange juice, milk, wheat germ, honey, and vanilla to a blender, and puree until smooth.

- 1 large peach, sliced and frozen
- 1 banana, cut into pieces and frozen

- 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
Add peach, banana, orange juice, milk, and flax seeds to a blender, and mix until smooth.
6. Melon Lime Cooler

- 4 1/2 cups cubed honeydew melon
- 1 1/2 cups lime sherbet
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 fresh strawberries
Cover single layer of baking sheet with melon, cover, and freeze for about 30 minutes (or until firm). Add melon slices to food processor (or Vitamix) with sherbet and lime juice. Puree until smooth, and dress with strawberries.

- 1/2 large banana, cut into pieces and frozen
- 2 large fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons vanilla yogurt
- 2 ice cubes
Add bananas, strawberries, blueberries, milk, vanilla, yogurt, and ice to blender, and puree until smooth.

- 2 cups strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 (8 ounce) container strawberry yogurt

Add strawberries, orange juice, yogurt, ice, and banana to blender, and mix until smooth.
